My latest short stop-motion film “Flowering”. This was my final work for an Artist Residency in Virginia Beach at 2050Community (https://www.2050community.com). The project was a reaction to the book “The Last Generation of Humans”. With over 1850 still photographs run at different speeds, this film took quite a bit of time and effort to finish. The only actual video is about a 3 second loop at the intro.
My focus was not on the negative or positive outcome of technology but the extension of our new presence and virtual awareness within the digital age. What are we flowering?
